For coffee lovers who like it sweet

Back again! After a couple more weeks of exploring, I have some new favorites. I also wonder if you guys want some honest reviews about places I have visited and don’t necessarily enjoy. Let me know!

Also, I feel like I need to add this disclaimer. Just because I like my coffee sweet, doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy the actual taste of coffee. People seem to find offense to “sweet coffee”. I love a dark hot coffee, just as much as I love my overly creamy latte. Both coffees are GREAT. But sweet cold brews and lattes have my heart, and I love to share. My suggestions are a perfect blend of bitter and sweet guys, don’t worry.

Enjoy ;)

LAMILL - Silverlake

  • This had been on my list for a long time and it did NOT disappoint. Location? Perfect to walk around in. The inside? Perfect to meet up with friends or get some work done! The interior was stunning. This is definitely one of my top 3 places because of the ambiance AND coffee. I got their Salted Caramel Latte with oat milk. My barista warned me it would be creamy but I love creamy coffee, and it was a perfect mixture of cream, coffee, and sweet. And they didn’t overdo it with ice so it felt like it was actually worth how much I spent!

Three Sisters Coffee & Tea - Burbank

  • This charming family owned business is definitely in my top TOP favorites for an abundance of reasons. Supporting local businesses while indulging in how everything on their menu delights is an absolute win. In all seriousness though, their cold brew is brewed to perfection, just add your favorite sweeteners from their assortments and voila. I also love their vanilla bean latte, the sweetness they create with their signature vanilla syrup is one of the best I have ever had.

Cafe de Mama - Koreatown

  • THIS! Was so good and unique. Black Sesame Cream Latte. Sounds so random, and I have never had anything like it before but it was. Amazing. Very strong, I got 3 shots of espresso (it comes with 2) and it tasted exactly how it sounds but it was good. Very nutty and sweet which I never expected to enjoy. It’s one of those you have to try to know.

    • P.S I had this while I had a stomach ache and still enjoyed it. That's how you know it was good.

DAMO - Koreatown

  • I definitely enjoyed this place. Ambiance inside is modern and cozy, a stark contrast to its exact location, so not the most aesthetic place to be able to walk around with your coffee in hand. I got the Einspener Hazelnut Latte. When it comes to the Einspener cream tops, my favorite is still YEEMS (oops) but this was pretty good too. Definitely more creamy than sweet but a great coffee nonetheless. A good vibe to do some work in, definitely a bit smaller on the inside so come prepared to wait for a seat.

Until next time, give me a couple more weeks of exploration for part 3!
